Learn to Facilitate! The facilitator is a skilled guide that assists a team or group to move through the process that delivers them to an established set of outcomes. The outcomes may include the deepened and shared understanding, better relationships or a product such as a strategic plan or a mission statement. The skill and comfort of the facilitator determine how the process flows and impacts the participation of each attendee. Learning how to facilitate engages you in the conversation about your style, your emotional comfort and other aspects of yourself, heightening your awareness of what you "bring into the room." This awareness partners with understanding and the tools to assist you in your effectiveness and to enhance the contributions of the participants. Each time a facilitator works with a group there is the potential to enhance the group's working relationships and the individual member's capacity to contribute.

Who Should Attend:
- Project managers, managers, leaders who are responsible for facilitating and leading groups and teams
- Members of teams and groups that are interested in increasing their effectiveness (you can impact outcomes even when you are not facilitating with this knowledge!)
- People that are or intend to become facilitators or presenters
- Those of you who present or work with groups frequently for sales, customer relations or Board of Director relations
This five day program is designed to incorporate five full days of learning and hands on experience to include:
Role of the Facilitator- Facilitation Foundational Skills
- Understanding Your Style
- Understanding and Recognizing Group Dynamics
- Hands on Facilitation with recording and feedback
- Coaching separately (one session follow up included for each participant)
Time Investment:
Five Full days are committed to the participants learning. Schedules are usually divided up between two week periods; three days one week and two the following. There is an individual coaching session for each participant that follows the class. This will be scheduled with the individuals.
Class size:
The class size for Learn to Facilitate! is limited to ten people, with a minimum size is seven. The individual and the group are emphasized in this invaluable workshop.
